I have been licensed in Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2007 and have worked in a private outpatient setting since 2008. I started working at Oakwood Clinical Associates in 2015 and have the honor of working with an exceptional team who shares my own professional and personal values (integrity, respect, communication, and personal responsibility).

My passion is working with individuals (children ages 4 and up, teens, and adults) and families to find what works best to fit their unique individual and family needs and will ultimately promote change and provide lasting solutions. My specialty areas include:

  • depression

  • anxiety

  • trauma

  • adjustment disorders

  • anger

  • attention deficit and hyperactivity

  • obsessions and compulsions

  • adolescent behaviors

  • family caregiver stress

  • parenting struggles

  • family issues

  • workplace issues

  • sensory struggles

  • behavior struggles

  • guardianship/foster care/adoption issues

  • and grief and loss

I utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques, such as psychoeducation to build knowledge and skill base, cognitive-behavioral therapy, HeartMath, family systems approach, executive functioning skill development, motivational interviewing, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing - a technique that uses bilateral stimulation to activate our brains’ ability to resolve trauma or other concerns, past and present, efficiently and effectively in less time than it would take to talk through it).
